About
— the human behind the machine

I'm Tadeas Tran, a software developer and independent creative operating under the pseudonym Honyo P. My work spans game development, systems programming, fiction writing, and self-hosted infrastructure — usually all running in parallel, usually all at some stage of chaos.

On the technical side I build with Rust, C++, TypeScript, C#, and Python. I care about open-source tooling, privacy-preserving infrastructure, and software that's fast, lean, and respects the people using it.

On the creative side the modes shift constantly — writing dark fiction, making games, doing photography, drawing, painting, and graphic design. Currently serializing a grimdark Victorian fantasy novel on Royal Road alongside a fantasy comedy web novel. The art takes many shapes. It just has to mean something.
